NFT artwork: Synthetic Consciousness
This NFT artwork features a female android meditating in the Padmasana (lotus position). It is done in a synthwave / retrowave style, complete with a retro sunset and signature grid lines. The pose was designed in Daz Studio, then drawn and colored in Procreate. The final piece was then assembled in Photoshop.
Do Androids Meditate?
Where does our consciousness come from and will it ever be replicated? Our consciousness is perhaps one of the main elements of what makes us sentient, human. Technological advancement has allowed us to synthetically grow flesh, create functioning limbs, and more… How long will it take for us to figure out what exact conditions are necessary for consciousness to spark, and recreate those synthetically? I believe it’s only a matter of time until AI develops a “mind of its own”.
